Air caps for Airless Plus spraying process

The air caps are essential components of the Airless Plus spraying process, which combines airless technology with air support. The spray medium is forced through the nozzle at a pressure of between 30 and 120 bar and supported by compressed air in the range of 0.5 to 2.5 bar. This special design of the air caps ensures that the material is evenly distributed and precisely applied.

Beschicht. offers two variants of the air cap, which differ in their colour and intended use:

Blue air cap - For highly viscous materials

The blue air cap is ideal for high-viscosity materials such as viscous paints or coatings. It offers a high volume (HV) of spray medium, which is applied evenly to the surface through the specially developed nozzle bore. This cap is perfect for applications where a larger volume of material is required to create a smooth, even coat.

Red air cap - For low viscosity materials

The red air cap was developed for low-viscosity materials such as low-viscosity paints or sealants. It operates at a low volume (LV), which is ideal for finer applications where precise and controlled material distribution is required. The lower volume of material achieves an accurate coating without applying excess material.
