Pumps

Discover diaphragm, piston and gear pumps as well as drum pumps – available in stainless-steel or ATEX versions, low pulsation and suitable for high viscosities.

From flow rate and pressure ratio to materials and seals and connections, outlets and filters: we tune your pump precisely to medium, viscosity, line lengths, consumers and cycle time.

Use & benefits

Our pumps enable reliable, process-safe delivery of paints, adhesives and resins and ensure a constant material pressure for reproducible film builds and precise dosing right down to the finest nozzles.

Properly sized systems reduce rework, lower material and energy consumption and increase system availability – even with long line runs or variable viscosity.

Technology & settings

  • Flow & pressure: design for throughput, open time, viscosity and reach; pressure regulators and gauges ensure stable delivery.
  • Pulsation: minimize using gear pumps or pulsation dampers to maintain smooth material flow.
  • Materials: choose steel, stainless steel or lined variants for chemical and solvent resistance.
  • Filters & screens: protect nozzles and regulators from particles and residues.
  • ATEX & grounding: mandatory for solvent-based media to ensure safe operation.

Accessories & integration

Accessories include pressure regulators, gauges and safety valves, pulsation dampers, filters and filter screens, material and air connections, hoses and couplings, drum follower plates, suction tubes, level and venting fittings as well as seal and service kits.

We carry out a compatibility check (medium, viscosity, connection layout) and integrate the pump seamlessly into workshop and production line.

Key advantages

  • Consistent delivery even with high viscosities
  • Low pulsation thanks to suitable pump technology/damping
  • Clean dosing right to the nozzle – less overspray
  • Manufacturer compatible with common systems & regulators

Frequently asked questions about pumps

What pump types exist and what are they suitable for?

Common types are diaphragm pumps (robust, can run dry), piston pumps (high pressure, long lines), gear pumps (low pulsation, precise dosing) and drum pumps (directly from original containers). For solvent-based media, ATEX and stainless-steel versions are recommended.

How do I size flow rate, pressure ratio and connections?

Flow rate is based on material throughput and cycle time; the pressure ratio on the required working pressure and viscosity. Outlets/connections (e.g., material, return, regulator, gauge) are matched to the number of consumers, nozzle flow, hose diameters and line lengths. Also size filters and pressure regulators accordingly.

Which factors influence delivery stability, safety and maintenance?

Pulsation dampers, hose volume, filter mesh geometry, seal and construction materials and compressed-air quality affect delivery stability. Safety is increased by certified valves/gauges, a solid grounding/ATEX concept and low-leak connections. Media-resistant seals, easy-to-clean lines and regular maintenance intervals help keep downtime low.
